Statement of Faith

God- We believe there is 1 God who has manifested Himself as the Father in the Son by the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things, both seen and unseen. (2 Co 4:18; Romans 3:30; Deut 6:4; Mark 12:29; Eph 4:6; Rom 15:6; 2 John 1:3; Jude 1:1; 1 Peter 1:3; Eph 4:5; Luke 4:41; John 1:34; Romans 1:4; Eph 4:4; Matt 1:18; Mark 12:36; 2 Peter 1:21; Mat 16:17)
God the Father- We believe God is Spirit and has called people to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. The Father is love. He is the Father of Glory. (Eph 1:17; John 4:23-24; James 1:17; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 Cor 8:6; 1 John 4:7-8; Eph 2:4; Rom 8:39)
Jesus Christ the Son of God- We believe Jesus is the manifestation of the Living God. He is the Glory of the Father, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary under the law to redeem those under the law, and all who will come to Him through faith in His name. He was crucified, died, buried, and resurrected on the third day. He is now ruling and reigning in heaven on the right hand of God as King of kings and Lord of lords. He is God as Man. (John 1:1,14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Phill 2:11; Eph 1:17; John 17;24; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27; Isaiah 7:14; Gal 4:4; Isaiah 53:5; Matt 26:2; 1 Cor 15:4; Matt 20:19; Luke 18:33; Matthew 14:62; Acts 2:33, 7:56; Rom 8:34; 1Timothy 6:15; Rev 17:14, 19:16;
John 1:1-3, 14; Phil 2:6-7; 1 Cor 15:45; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27; Isaiah 7:14)
Holy Spirit –We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ and the Father. He convicts of sin and righteousness and of judgement. He equips the believer to witness for Christ. He gives spiritual gifts to every believer and every gift of God is available to believers as Christ wills in His Church. (1 Peter 4:14; 1 Cor 2:11; John 16:8; 2 Cor 3:17; John 14:10, 17-18; Gal 4:6; Luke 1:35; Rom 8:9; Eph 4:8,12; Eph 4:8, 1 Cor:12,14; Matt 7:12)
Bible- We believe the 66 books of the Bible were penned by over 40 different men, during a 1500 year period and all testify of 1 man Jesus Christ. We believe the books are divinely inspired and therefore without error. We believe the Bible is complete in its ability to convey the message of salvation, godliness and holy living for those who believe, and the final Revelation of Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Tim 3:16 ;Rev 22:18; 1 John 2:13; John 3:16-17; 2 Thess 2:1; 1 Thess 4:3-4; Hebrews 10:27)
Salvation- We believe salvation is by faith through Jesus Christ alone. (John 10:9; John 1:29; Romans 10:9; Acts 4:12; Eph 2:8-10)
Water Baptism- We believe in water baptism by immersion for the remission of sin. (Mark 1:4; 1 Peter 3:20-21; Luke 24:47)
Holy Spirit Baptism- We believe Holy Spirit baptism is separate and distinct from water baptism that equips the believer with power to witness for Christ. (Matt 3:11; Acts 1:8; John 1:33; Acts 19:2-6; 2 Tim 1:7; Eph 4:8)
Church- We believe there is 1 body of Christ and local churches are expressions of the greater body of Christ. (Col 3:11;
1 Cor 10:17; John 17:21-23; Eph 4:4; Romans 12:5; 1 Cor 12:20; Hebrews 12:22-23; 1Cor 12:13; Rev 1:11; 2 Cor 8:1; 2 Cor 8:18)
Born Again, Holy Spirit Filled, Overcomer
3 Feasts- We believe that the Feasts of Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Passover is accepting the sacrifice made by Jesus the Lamb of God for the forgiveness of sin. We apply the Blood of Christ by faith to the door of our heart by confessing the Lord Jesus Christ with our mouth and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead.
Pentecost is receiving the Holy Spirit of God for power to be His witnesses in the earth and enabling us to live a victorious life in Christ. The first evidence of this feast is speaking in other tongues and prophesying and is shown forth in our lives by living a sanctified life not continuing in sin.
Tabernacles is Christ in you the hope of glory shown forth by having become separated from the world and being in it but not of it. Having no care for the things of the world and overcoming the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, awaiting the redemption of our bodies.
